I Grew up in New York City, graduated from Syracuse University (geology and physics), and then served as an officer in the U. S. Navy before becoming an airline pilot. Throughout all of this, I lived in and visited several cities and regions throughout the U.S., but eventually chose to reside in Birmingham for its beauty, the warmth of its people, and its outstanding quality of life.
I married my wife Kristi, a Birmingham native, in 2001.
I began my career as a Real Estate agent in June 2003. I worked for RealtySouth for about 6½ months. In this short time, I began seeing myself closing on average of two to three transactions per month from the start. I began to develop great skills and saw that I could make real estate work for me.
I then made a bold move to RE/MAX Realty in Birmingham, Alabama in early 2004. Here, I began to flourish and became Rookie of the Year within the office. After completing my year in 2004, I ended up selling almost $7 Million in my first full year! I was a multimillion dollar producer ranked among the top salesmen in the city and earned awards from the Board and RE/MAX. I was also written up on the front page of the Birmingham News as one of the best young, aggressive, and successful new agents for RE/MAX Realty in Birmingham, Alabama.
The following year in 2005, I ended up selling over $11 million, which put me in the top one percent in the city, making me the number one agent in my office in transactions. Thus, I earned awards from the Board and the Elite Platinum Level award from RE/MAX. In 2006, I proved myself once again, by selling over $10 million despite the slowed market that hit early that year in April. Again, I was ranked as a top agent in my office and Birmingham, establishing myself with the same top recognitions!
Suddenly it was 2007, and I decided to take it to the next level. After much prayer and faith in God, I decided to take the boldest step yet in my career: I opened my own company! Today, I am the broker of PROVIDENCE REAL ESTATE, Inc. Remarkably, In 2007 sales where oustanding for Providence RE, braking previous records in my career. In 2008 was even better than 2007, despite the market turmoil. I attribute it all to the faith I have in God and the innovative marketing that I do.
My past success, my attitude and my faith have all placed me where I am today. Coming from extremely challenging times- being an unemployed airline pilot with no clear career path, and living in overwhelming financial distress, I was lifted to a place of hope, determination, and the Faith to succeed. It is exciting to see where my career has taken me. I am excited to see what the future holds!
